The modern age of today that we are living in is extremely fast. The credit of this contemporary era goes to the rapid advancement of technology. Every morning, we wake up to the introduction of latest and high end technologies in almost each and every field by different companies. The rising competition among these companies in introducing their products is becoming worse day by day. Each of them wants to attain the first place or the highest position in the fight of being the leader of the latest technology and therefore want to prove his technology as the best one or incomparable in the market.

TD Vision, since 2001, has been trying to integrate 3D into the hi-definition setups of home cinema. Recently, TDV Codec has shown the possibility to view normal Blu-ray disc in 3D. The latest setup of hi-def cinema at the LA based Society for Information Display (SID) 2008 has been introduced by the 3D technology company and TD Vision Systems. According to them, the TDV Codec can run the ‘HD – 3D compatible existing 2D infrastructure systems that have the similar Blu – ray disc’ very easily. This means that a 3D Blu – ray disc can be used on any non 3D Blu – ray player. The best part about this whole scenario is that this will not even have any impact on the resolution, quality and color of the movie or picture.

The press release waffle stated that people now have the convenience of even enjoying their 3D experience in their homes, just by the adding the TDV Ready decoder in the Blu – ray setup. The 3D system even works with televisions in the 3D DLP chips format. Mitsubishi and Samsung are the two world leaders in the field of TV manufacturing, which make use of these high end chips in their televisions. Mitsubishi is working on a Blu-ray player which converts the 2D images into a 3D view, on the fly. The price and date of release of the decoder by TD Vision systems has not been announced yet.

TDV Codec is considered to be one of the best and the only ways of deploying HD 3D with absolutely no loss in the resolution, frame rate, quality and color of the picture. TD Vision has undoubtedly succeeded in creating an exclusive, first class and preeminent codec, which would help in providing complete 100% 1080p per eye as close as possible to the content which was originally there.

The introduction of this technology is very beneficial and best suited especially for those who want to view 3D Blu – rays without really making any expensive changes to their HD setup. The Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus (the best concert tour of both the worlds) is now released by 3D Blu ray. Recently, even Hollywood film makers have shown interest in making 3D films. James Cameron, a recognized director is working on a 3D movie called Avatar, which is scheduled to release on the 18th of December, 2009.

I want to buy a bluray player. I read some reviews on cheaper models and people have said that sometimes they can’t even play certain bluray discs. I want to avoid this without spending a whole lot of money. What features should I be aware of when shopping for bluray players?

Ok I’m trying to record old home videos to dvd. I’m using a Panasonic DMR-ES30V which can record vhs to dvd. The manuel is lost, and Operating Instuctions from the website will not pull up on this computer.

Anyway, I recorded the video on the dvd, but the process is not finalized. What do I do to complete the formating process. I would like to be able to view the video from other dvd players.

If you know tell me what you did or you can get it off the website. First person who tells me the right answer gets the points.
